Heaters

Working with partner companies, Dycotec Materials provide materials for manufacturing of printed heater systems for automotive, ATM, security, mirror, display and military applications.

Heating is generated by the “Joule Effect”, whereby the heat generated is proportional to the electric current applied and resistance. We offer a full system design and test service including CFD based thermal modelling, electrical interface and product qualification.

Heaters are manufactured by either printing carbon or silver based circuits including on non-planar substrates (typically plastic) or transparent heaters using our specialist conductive inks in combination with our proprietary overlayers.

For our transparent heaters, temperature increases of greater than 10˚C per minute can be achieved with maximum temperatures greater than 90˚C.
