Dycotec Materials, a leading developer and manufacturer of advanced materials for Printed Electronics, and Agfa announce the transfer of Agfa’s solvent based silver nanoparticle synthesis and ink formulation technologies. See our current range of silver conductive ink products, including nanosilver inkjet and aerosol jet systems. Agfa, a global leader in digital print and chemicals, will continue to supply its ORGACON PEDOT:PSS materials for Printed Electronics applications.
Among the products that have been transferred are ORGACON SI-P2000 (now DM-SIP-3212), PRELECT SPS 201 (now DM-SIJ-3103) and PRELECT SPS 210 (now DM-SIJ-310). These technologies will enable Dycotec to further develop their high-performance inks for markets such as clean energy, semiconductor assembly and automotive sectors.
Eva Perković, Product Manager at Dycotec Materials, is responsible for expanding their nanomaterial ink capabilities and production facilities. She commented: “We are very pleased with this portfolio extension. It reinforces our expansion plans and extends our core capabilities from ink formulation and organic synthesis to include nanomaterial production. This is a critical step in allowing higher performance inks to be produced whilst ensuring high quality and a secure source of materials for our customers.”
Peter Willaert, Product Manager at Agfa, said: “Dycotec has been an excellent collaborative partner over the last few years and this transfer has allowed Agfa to concentrate on the growth of its high-value core business in PEDOT:PSS and digital inks and equipment for the graphics industry.”
